A member of the Paris Bar since 2007, Jean-François Copé worked at Gide Loyrette Nouel for four years. He joined Stehlin & Associés in 2017. In 2022, Jean-François Copé participated in the creation of a new business law firm, Everlaw & Tax.
Jean-François Copé has held several government positions (notably as Minister Delegate for the Interior and, subsequently, Minister Delegate for the Budget). As a former student of ENA, he worked at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and Crédit Local de France for nine years, before coming MP. He is currently Major of Meaux.
